There are customers who only have one overhead crane with one hoist in their facilities, but others have several overhead cranes, each with its own hoist, which can be monorails, double rails, or both types.

All lifting equipment, such as light profiles, monorails, jibs, or overhead cranes, are usually equipped with hoists, whether they are manual, electric chain, or cable hoists.

In the case of electric hoists, pendant control stations or industrial radio control equipment are also usually installed for their use. These systems control the lifting and lowering of the load with the hoist and the movement of the hoist along the overhead crane.

When there are several overhead cranes, one system is installed per overhead crane, and there are pendant control stations that can handle more than one of the overhead cranes, using the master/slave system.

To operate the different equipment, selector control stations will be used, which will communicate with the different cabinets. This is possible thanks to the master/slave system and the pitch&catch function.

Radio control equipment with programmable functions

The pitch&catch function prevents accidents caused by two operators trying to operate the same equipment at the same time. As long as the corresponding control station for the slave equipment does not release the equipment, it cannot be controlled by another control station.

In the following image, you can see control stations with and without selectors (at the bottom of the pendant stations). These selectors facilitate simultaneous movements, as they allow for easy and safe selection of the equipment to be operated.

Our radio control equipment has a wide variety of functions, which can be programmed from the factory by our technicians.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you need to purchase, program or install a radio control system for your lifting equipment.
